Biographical Sketch for Leonard Seaman
A native of Miami Florida, Mr Seaman moved to Paradise Island, Nassau Bahamas at a very early age. While attending school in Nassau, Mr Seaman began his art career in his early teens, selling his art to the local tourists. After the completion of his high school education he left the Bahamas to further his education and study architectural design at Breckinridge J.C. in Morganfield Kentucky.
He soon discovered that his real interest was in the field of fine arts, and he continued his education at Murray State University in Murray Kentucky. Upon completion of this phase of his education, Mr Seaman moved to Key West Florida, where he resided for several years. Feeling that the Key West art market wasn,t challenging enough, he relocated to Miami in 1985 and pursued a continuing fine arts career, as well as moving into the design field, doing work for major corporate clients. This work embraces all aspects of the design field such as major exhibit design, landscape,interiors, promotion and convention services.
In the late eighties, Mr. Seaman discovered a new source of tools by way of computer graphics and has since worked almost exclusively in this medium, paying particular attention to the areas of illlustration and background and virtual stage design. Current projects are in the area of cdrom based game design and 3d modelling, animations and backgrounds for broadcast television, as well as the creation of 3d and 2d graphics content for the internet.
